Following the Grand Master’s holy teaching of “Doing good deeds”, with the provision of medical aid ranking highly amongst all good deeds, Toa Payoh Seu Teck Sean Tong committed $1.5million to National Kidney Foundation (NKF) to set up the “Toa Payoh Seu Teck Sean Tong – National Kidney Foundation Dialysis Centre” at Block 203 Yishun Street 21. The dialysis centre was officially opened in 1995, benefiting over 70 patients weekly in the northern part of Singapore. We continue our commitment by donating $100,000 annually to support the centre’s operational costs.

In addition, TPSTST has donated further $620,000 towards the replacement costs for dialysis machines over the years. TPSTST has also committed more than $260,000 to support 175 NKF patients for the cost of funeral rites.

After 27 years, TPSTST made another magnanimous contribution of $2.2million to NKF to establish our second dialysis centre at Block 225 Toa Payoh Lorong 8. This new dialysis centre will have 28 dialysis stations and will benefit 168 NKF patients in the Central region. The official opening is expected to be in 1st quarter of 2023.
